Most little girls head to the toy aisle at the drugstore. Not me. As a little girl, I roamed the beauty aisles and dreamed of buying all the skincare serums and moisturizers. I've always been obsessed with beauty products, so it's no surprise that I have made skincare my career. However, I'm not sure I ever imagined I would be where I am now—training skincare businesses to increase revenue.

I began my esthetics career right from high school, enrolling at Catherine Hinds Institute. While attending school, I worked the front desk at a local spa. That was just the foot in the door I needed because it kicked off my 20-year career.  I created quite a following of dedicated clients that I loved, and they loved me back. 

However, at some point, I realized that I felt stuck. It was when I started expanding my education that my passion reemerged. My clients were happier, so business was growing. The spa I worked at began to thrive when I started training my coworkers on the different modalities and products I was learning. Eventually, I took on the role of Director of Education. 

Today, I'm out on my own and still giving the best facials in Massachusetts. However, I’m also using my expertise to change the skincare industry. I want to see this industry keep growing and for others to experience the fun that I’ve had.  At Laura Jeannette and Co., our goal is to help dermatology offices, plastic surgery offices, and medspas grow revenue through training, education, and business consulting.

I've seen a lot in this industry, and one thing is for sure—there is no ceiling unless you make it. With determination, passion, and education, I worked my way up from front desk girl to entrepreneur, changing the skincare industry.
